The past weekend of 20th-21st May 2023 was a remarkable one, full of wags, wiggles, and warm smiles, as we, at Matt Whiteman Photography, had the privilege of attending and capturing the magic of the Goodwoof Event at Goodwood.
Goodwood Estate was abuzz with the chatter of delighted pet owners, the playfulness of our furry friends, and a shared love for all things canine. Bathed in full sun, it was an ideal setting for a picture-perfect picnic, adding a beautiful backdrop to our delightful photographs.
We were thrilled to meet the talented Amy Shore Photography, who attended the event on Saturday. Her passion for her craft was truly inspirational, and her presence added an extra spark to the atmosphere.
But the fun didn't stop there! Goodwoof 2023 was also graced by some famous faces, adding a generous sprinkle of star power to the proceedings. Former Portsmouth Football Club player Peter Crouch made his tall presence felt, while comedian Bill Bailey ensured there were plenty of laughs. Kevin McCloud, the renowned designer and presenter, was also in attendance. His role in presenting the award for the Junior Goodwoof Barkitecture Competition 2023 was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the weekend.
Speaking of which, let's give a huge round of applause for our brilliant young architect, Florance Dale, aged 9. Her winning dog house design was a perfect blend of creativity and practicality, showcasing her exceptional talent and an undoubtedly bright future.
From meeting renowned photographers to watching young talents bloom, from enjoying the company of famous personalities to basking in the love and enthusiasm of the dogs and their owners, the Goodwoof Event 2023 was nothing short of incredible.
